Hi,
I would like to know if is mandatory to interconnect externally the VDDC pins or if put a capacitor to gnd for each pin is enough?

I`m asking that to simplify the layout for a two layers board for 64 pins devices.

Would be great if Infineon release a XMC4000 with the XMC1000 package and pinout. Is it possible?

Ari.

Hi Ari,

It is required to interconnect all the VDDC pins together.
You can refer to our hexagon kit schematic for more information.

Usually low pin count device such as XMC1000 are mainly targeted for the low end market.
Therefore, it is why there are no XMC4000 in low pin count package.
