Hallo Angeles,

There are 2 dedicated CCU6 on TC1798

Does this mean that the customer can control maximum 2 3 phased systems or he can still use GPTA to control more?

Hello Gunnar,

It is true that can drive 2 3-phased system with the CCU6 alone. The GPTA which is a different module and therefore can drive more systems as in TC1797. The CCU6 is an addition and doesn’t hinder the GPTA capabilities. I hope this answers your querry.

Hello Lassaad,

thank you for this quick response!

To be sure I would like to double check your feedback:

Each CCU6 can drive 2 3-phase systems, means in total 4 systems can be driven independently by the 2 CCU6 modules?!

By using GPTA the customer would be able to operate additional 3-phase-systems besides CCU6.

Do we have an AppNote regarding this topic available?`

Thank you again!

Regards,
Gunnar.

Hi Gunnar,

There are 2 pairs of CCU6 on TC1798, each can CCU6 can drive 1 3-phased system thatís 4 in total. The GPTA and LTCA can drive additionally 12 non shadowed systems.

Thatís quite a high number. I can look up an appnote for you, I am not sure if we have one. If we donít, we have a hands on training for this that could be of a help maybe.
