View Full Version : Changing Power Configuration on TC2X7 TriBoard

I am using a TriBoard TC2X7 V1.0 with a TC277TE.

There are 3 main power rails on the board: +5V, +3.3V, +1.3V on the board. The 3.3V, 1.3V rails can be powered externally or internally (via the on-chip EVR).

The default case for powering the device is:
generate +5V by TLE 7368-3E or get +5V by USB connector and generate +3,3V and
+1,3V by the microcontroller.

The means the +5V is powered externally and the 3.3V, 1.3V rails are powered internally (meaning via the internal EVR13, EVR33 of the TriCore chip).

I want to supply 3.3V externally.
Ultimately, I am trying to change the power configuration to +5V external, +3.3V external, and 1.3V internally.
What changes to the board must I make to properly power the board and TriCore this way?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
