Hi,
We are using TC1793 controller.
I want to know how offset calibration is implemented in FADC.

Is calibration handled in analog side or post conversion in digital side
How is the register setting ACR.CALOFF contributing here?

Thanks.

Hi,

I have not used TC 1793 but I can suggest you one simple solution:

Before the start of execution of the program (when there is no signal in FADC, i.e only Offset voltage), measure the value of the voltage in the FADC channel.
The measured value will be the digital value of the offset.
Once the system starts, (there is signal in FADC), measure the FADC Value and substract the previous OFFSET reading.
The result will be the digital value of the signal. With suitable conversion, you can then get the signal in mV or Volt.

Hope this solves your problem.
