Prerequisites for setting TCSET register (TRBS bit ) in CCU4

Hi I am using XMC4100 and I am struct in running CCU4 timer. Whenever I am trying to set TRBS bit of particular TCSET register it's not getting set. I wanted to know if there is any prerequisite for setting TRBS bit ? I mean do i need to enable some other features before setting this bit (I have configured other registers as per Initialization sequence given in the reference manual )? Waiting for the response.

Hello,

I don't think there are any pre-requisites to set TCSET register. Of course, it makes sense to start the timer only after all configurations have been done.

As I mentioned in the other thread, the timer run bit TRBS in TCSET register is a write-only register. Read is always 0 so this is not a problem.
