I tried adding the EBU001 App to a project for a XMC4500-E144x1024 stepping code AB, but the app was not provided by the app selection view. Any other app is selectable.
If I create a new project for the XMC4500-E144x1024 stepping code AA the app can be selected, added and configured as usually.
Is the EBU generally not operational at devices with stepping code AB or AC?
Greetings
Valentina

Hi,
i need all 6 USICs and the EBU. But there is the known USIC-Silicon-Bug with XMC4500-F144k1024 AA.?
Do you have any hint/news for AB-/AC-stepping using EBU-App?
Best regards, EmHa

Hi EmHa,
Maybe you can try using the AA step project to generated the EBU code and then copy the whole generated code to the AB/AC step project.
Perhaps that will works..

Hi Rou, thanks for your hint. Do you have an idea, how to make a consistent Pin-Assignment etc.(in AB/AC-project) after copying EBU-Code?

It works with Device-Migration (Dave 3.1.10).
1. import/create AA-Stepping-XMC4500-Project (adding Apps: EBU001-App etc.)
2. Menu: Dave -> Device Migration -> XMC4500 AB or AC-stepping
(downgrade to AA perhaps also possible)
in my configuration code-generation, build, pin-assignment for EBU works in AB-Stepping

Well done, I considered this option too. Thanks for trying it and reporting to us.
I guess this means that the EBU is operational at least at stepping AB devices.
Maybe Infineon will unblock the app shortly?
Greetings!
