Hi Infineon,
for JLINK there is a dll available to program the flash by a script:
http://www.infineonforums.com/threads/1141-memtool-jlink-batch-file?highlight=Memtool
For the miniWiggler V3 we need a similar but more flexible solution. Because of the low price I think some customers are interested to integrate the miniWiggler into their own software as update- or testinterface to a XMCxxxx via swd. For example we need a foolproof application to update the flash by the customer. Or to verify problems by remote access. But to realize these applications there is some support needed like an api (a dll) of the miniWiggler. Most functions of such an api already exist at Infineon Memtool or DAS and need only to be extracted and perhaps completed.
A first version of such a dll could be:
- a function to program and verify flash
- a function to access ram (r/w)
The access via debug interface has at least 2 advantages: no port is lost and the ARM CoreSight technology allows memory access without stealing cpu cycles.
Please check if it's possible to offer this.
Best regards,
Wolfgang
