Hi,
1) Why don't you install DAVE under root folder eg. C:\DAV-3.1.10?
2) Did you do Apps migration for the example project?
BR,
Zain

1) cause i have all the development tools &C under the "c:\idp" folder, is it a problem for DAVE ?
2) i have the same problem even if i click on "new project, easy", asking Dave to create it … the same issues about "folders", it seems a "make" problem, it seems "make" is not able to find folders in relative path

Hello ivelegacy
you have to import the application into the Workspace IMPORT-GENERAL-EXISTING PROJECTS INTO WORKSPACE-SELECT ARCHIVE FILE->Browse...
So your Chances are good that the paths are correct.

Hi,
To clarify:
1) This example project can be compiled in DAVE 3.1.10 on Windows XP machine
2) DAVE can be installed other than C:\
You should use DAVE Project Import function to import example project (go to: > Import > DAVE Project >...), not General Import function (go to: > Import > General > Existing Projects into Workspace).
In addition, pls create a fresh workspace.
Best regards,
Sophia

Hi,
As I mentioned that you should use DAVE Project Import function to import example project (go to: > Import > DAVE Project >...).
You can refer to "DAVE TIP of the day: Infineon DAVE Project import and export functions" for the details on the difference between 2 import functions (DAVE Project Import & General Import).
Best regards,
Sophia

hi,
i had a similiar problem under Dave 3.1.8.
I fixed it by installing Dave onto the same harddrive as the workspace and all other Dave-related programs and folders.

it seems to me that the issue is related to "make" (which is a part of the toolchain, see arm/bin/), this piece of code is not working correctly, wandering how to fix it

Within DAVE (installing DAVE, using DAVE, DAVE Libraries, DAVE Workspaces) it is NOT allowed to use the space character/space/blank in filenames, folder names/directory names, and/or path names!
For example:
The following path/directory/folder to install DAVE is NOT allowed:
C:\Program Files
DO NOT USE the space character/space/blank/%20 in filenames, folder names/directory names, and/or path names!
Check “Local Library Store” path:
Window -> Preferences -> Dave -> Library Manager -> Library Store:
If you see a space character/space/blank/%20:
Create a new directory/folder for the Library Store without a space character/space/blank/%20:
Select the new directory/folder for the Library Store:
Window -> Preferences -> Dave -> Library Manager -> Library Store -> Browse
Afterwards:
File – Restart (Do NOT change the Eclipse/DAVE Workspace!)
Reason: Windows XP uses the directory: C:\Documents and Settings
-> which is nor working with DAVE!!!
This should help 🙂
