Is it true that Memtool can be used to protect flash device (read / write) ?
Memtool use the serial link, is it possible to protect flash device without hardware modifications ?? I have a JTAG interface (Keil ULINK).

Which device you are referring to?
If you are referring to XC2000/XE166 device, the answer is YES.
Memtool can be used to protect the flash.
Go to Setup-> set the password and then use HW Protect to enable the protection.

Hi, has anybody know how to unprotect a chip? My Easy kit XE167FH-200F100L is locked.
